Amos
On March 20, 2021 Steve Gregg gave a two part overview of the Old Testament book by the minor prophet, Amos.
Amos was a sheepbreeder of Tekoa in Judah, who delivered his oracles in the Northern Kingdom during the prosperous reign of Jeroboam II (786–746 B.C.). He prophesied in Israel at the great cult center of Bethel, from which he was finally expelled by the priest in charge of this royal sanctuary (7:10–17). The poetry of Amos, who denounces the hollow prosperity of the Northern Kingdom, is filled with imagery and language taken from his own pastoral background. The book is an anthology of his oracles and was compiled either by the prophet or by some of his disciples.

Steve Gregg teaches through the first two chapters of Isaiah at The New Great Commission School in 2012.
Chapter 1 is Yahweh’s rebuke of Judah’s rebellion against God and for their wickedness. He tells them their religious rituals were worthless as their actions showed they did not love God.
Chapter 2 concerns God’s judgment on Judah and we find that “latter days” and “the Day of the Lord” often refer to a then future even that has now passed. They are not prophecies that are still to come. the New Covenant Church Age is also predicted in this chapter.
Steve Gregg teaches verse by verse through Isaiah chapters 3-6, mainly concerning God’s judgment on Judah & Jerusalem. He covers the famous metaphor of the vineyard, representing God’s people in chapter 5.
This lecture covers chapters 7 & 8.
6 For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Steve Gregg of The Narrow Path teaches verse by verse through chapters 11-14 of Isaiah. This section includes prophecy of the Messiah stemming from Jesse &; New Testament times when many Gentiles would become Israel (the church), judgment on Babylon and it’s king and what most Christians believe is the fall of Satan/Lucifer from heaven.

Steve Gregg of The Narrow Path teaches verse by verse through chapters 58, 59, and 60 of Isaiah. So much of the end of the book of Isaiah is about Jesus redeeming the people of God under the New Covenant and prophesying the fact that gentile believers would join Jewish believers to make on Israel.
Steve Gregg of The Narrow Path teaches through the final six chapters of Isaiah at The New Great Commission School. These chapters speak spiritually of the glory of the then coming church age which Jesus inaugurated 2000 years ago. It speaks of the drastic changes that the Holy Spirit would make in the lives of Christians, bringing them from ruin to glory and fruitfulness in Christ. It speaks of the eternal covenant Jesus made with the Body of Christ that would include Jews and Gentiles.
